On Monday night February 7th I had the honor to spend some time with the scouts as they prepared and practiced for their role in the 11am worship service on February 13th. We at the church are honored once more to celebrate the ministry of scouting. On Feb 8th The Boy Scouts of America organization celebrated 122 years of scouting in the United States. Girl Scouts celebrate their National Day on March 12th and this year will celebrate 120 years in the United States. We have had a strong relationship with scouts here at the church and are honored to have them participate in worship this coming Sunday. Please come support the scouts as they will be leading parts of the worship service and come early for the presentation of the flags and for the pledge of allegiance.  Be Prepared, Pastor Brian

Current Sermon Theme:

Experiencing God (a guide to knowing and doing God's will): "Navigating Your Crisis of Belief" Hebrews 10: 19-25 At one point all of us will experience at least one crisis of belief. This can manifest itself with doubts about the existence of God to doubts about what God really wants from us. If we navigate this crisis correctly, we generally get closer to God once we go through it. Big point: "God's invitation to work with him often leads to a crisis of belief that requires faith and action." Rev. Steve Woody will be preaching during our 9 am Contemporary Service and our 11 am Traditional Service. You can also join us by watching our livestream services.

Being the Church: "Be a disciple Not Just a Pew Warmer: Luke 9: 23-25 Discipleship involves commitment, giving of our whole selves and lives, not just on Sunday morning.  Rev. Brian Waddell will be preaching during the 9 am Gospel Service.

Scroll down to “Choose a Fund”. You can link a credit/debit card or bank account or use your existing PayPal to give. PayPal: Use your existing account to donate to businessmanager@livingstonfumc.org. Auto Draft: Request a form from our financial manager, Cynthia Lane. The form can be emailed to you at your home. Fill the form out and return it to back to Cynthia. Be sure to choose which week of the month you want to draft to take place (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) and to which fund (General, building, etc.) Bank Bill Pay: Through your bank you can set up Livingston FUMC as a vendor. Be sure to state in the memo which fund you want to give to (General, building, music, etc.) FUMC Self-addressed envelopes: If you prefer cash or check these envelopes can be picked up at the church.

Tuesday Morning Seekers will begin a new study March 1 Join us as we prepare our hearts for Easter.   Explore the mystery of salvation through the image of the cross! In this thought-provoking 6-session study, we will examine the biblical symbols that point to the meaning, necessity, and significance of Jesus' death and resurrection. Women of Grace begin a new study on Wednesday Feb. 23 Make Your Move: Finding Unshakable Confidence Despite Your Fears and Failures   Make Your Move Video Study is a six-session Bible study by author and Proverbs 31 Ministries speaker Lynn Cowell. Each week, we will be encouraged to dig deep into God's Word to discover we can find boldness to do great things based not on our own confidence, but the confidence we find in an unshakable God. Join us! Wednesdays in Fellowship Small 9:00 – 10:45 am ~~ Material Fee: $5.00
