FUN-2-3 ... for the kids and me!

Do you know, or remember, the children’s books by Richard Scarry? The characters on this fabric took me back to story time with my young sons – such fun memories. Now the lively antics come to life in this FUN-2-3 collection by designer Louise Anglicas for Robert Kaufman.

The panel with 10 blocks has lots of possibilities and we chose to make it into a small quilt or playmat that finishes at 31” x 40”. We’ve used the panel and several blenders so the panel blocks can steal the show. Coordinates are also available if you’d like to add an additional border or come up with your own quilt designs. This is so cute, don’t you agree?

Impromptu Show and Tell

Lois popped in the other day after picking up her “Kingdom Quilt” from longarm quilter, Karen Street. She graciously allowed us to take some photos to share with all of you. It is gorgeous. The traditional use of triangles, the color combinations and the offset layout makes for a very easy yet very interesting presentation. Thanks for sharing Lois!

From your beloved Editor ....

When I was in the shop on Saturday afternoon - slaving away cleaning floors - several customers expressed "Free Speech" and commented on how much they enjoyed my editorials. Just as many suggested I wasn't much of a cleaner and one suggested I stick to what I'm good at - whatever that is. Thanks ... I guess.

Hope to see you in the shop soon.
