FUN RUN!



We have officially kicked off our PS 33 Chelsea Prep FUN RUN!

Hopefully your kids are excited learning about how to help our school and our Boosterthon character theme - World Changer Workshop!  It's going to be a ton of fun!


Our goal is to raise $20,000 for enrichment programs! And...for grades with over 40% students registered...they will get extra recess time! Please make sure you have registered your child for the Fun Run - there is no monetary commitment for registration, you just sign up! Want to join us to watch your kids run and help cheer them on?! We are looking for volunteers! The finalized schedule for the Fun Run, the time that each grade will be running, will be sent out next week. Be on the lookout.

The Gala Committee is asking ALL families to solicit at least ONE ITEM from one of our many neighborhood businesses or a personal contact! Restaurants, Experiences, Health & Fitness, Sports Games, Fashion, etc.  All ideas are welcome!


How to solicit a donation?

1). Download the letter HERE and take it to the business for solicitation requests. Have them email a copy to chelseaprepgala@gmail.com.

Acts from families who made the video submission deadline have been finalized! Now performers have 3 weeks left to practice and polish up their acts for their time in the spotlight on April 6th from 3pm-5pm! In-school Talent Show will be April 4th during school hours.

PARENTS HELPING PARENTS

This year, there has been a significant increase in lice cases in schools citywide. Much of this can be decreased if we collectively take the time to notify our school as well as parents in your child's class and bus groups. Let's help stop the spread by letting each other know if your child has lice so that we can all check and treat! Below is a helpful flyer to help debunk some misconceptions about lice as well as some practical tips on how to stop the spread. Be proactive and do your research as well through the QR code provided!  



Please review the head lice policy from the DOE by clicking below and check out some helpful tips and information in the flyer. Be on the lookout for more guidance that will be communicated in the near future by the school as well as the PTA soon regarding lice protocol!
