2021 Annual Report
Change can be beautiful when you are bold enough to evolve with it.
Our 2021 Annual Report recaps changes to our Board diversity, the development of a new Advancement role, and the growth of greater data collection and impact measurements of our grant funding. We concluded 2021 with a robust Annual Appeal generating $54,095. Thank you for your generosity. Your support enables us to empower women and girls to achieve their potential. Together we are planting the seeds that enable brighter tomorrows for women and girls in Delaware.

Do More 24 Delaware
We are thrilled to share that we will again be participating in the statewide Do More 24 Delaware campaign this March 3rd-4th.

With fewer foundations, smaller grants and formerly localized investments now leaving the state, the impact of individuals like you is more important than ever in ensuring Delaware women and girls are able to meet their potential.

Can you imagine what life would be like for Delaware's women and girls if the work we do stopped tomorrow? The community you care about relies on your support to help women overcome obstacles in their way.

But the future of the work we do is not at all assured. Please help us continue to make a difference in the lives of Delaware’s women and girls. We must work together to ensure the continuation of the critical services that make Delaware safe, special and sustainable for future generations.

For 24 hours from 6 p.m. March 3rd through 6 p.m. March 4th we’re asking you to do more with us. A gift to Do More 24 Delaware creates a greater impact for the Fund for Women and the state of Delaware.

Upcoming Events
Save the date for “Hooray for May - Galentine's Day” - May 1

Join us for this fun celebration in Kent County which will be held from 1-3 PM on May 1st. Event will include light brunch fare with champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and other sweet treats. Advance registration is required. More information and a registration link will be posted on the website and sent as the date gets closer.

Save the date for the Sussex County Fashion Show - October 2
 
Save the Date for this fun celebration in Sussex County. The Annual Fashion Show typically is held in the Spring; however, for safety precautions, it has been moved to the Fall. More information will be posted regarding ticket sales and sponsorships on the website. 

Grant Features
We are eager to share features from some of our 2021 Grant Recipients! Recipients were asked to share testimonials, accomplishments and the overall impact of the FFW grant on their program. Features will be shared on the Fund for Women Facebook and Instagram during February and March as well as our website. 

FFW Advocacy Update
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Delaware Chapter (NCBW Delaware) a Fund for Women past Grant Recipient presented a first-of-its-kind study in Delaware. The study, conducted by the University of Delaware, dove into the lived experiences of 70 Black girls in Delaware. Titled, “State of our Union: Black Girls in Delaware” read more about this study and NCBW Delaware initiatives here.
