|
About the artist:
Barbara Minor, a studio artist living and working in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, concentrates on experimental work and research in enameling. She is well known for her innovative enameled beads, her distinctive enameled jewelry and her unique enameled vessels.
Barbara completed her B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees in jewelry and metalsmithing at University of Illinois and Indiana State University. She began enameling during graduate school and continued innovative explorations of enamel processes, with the support of research grants, while teaching at the State University of New York at Geneseo. The first half of the pictured pieces are from Alliance/Reliance, our collaborative exhibition. The second half of the images are other works donated by members and friends of The Enamelist Society. There are several not pictured yet, we hope to have those available soon. Note: retail values and minimum bids are subject to change.

Please participate. And this year, the Board voted to post an online exhibition of the work from the Instant Gallery. If you wish to have your work included in “TES Instant Gallery Online Exhibition 2019” please have a good high resolution photo of the piece(s) to send in after the conference, details to follow. Please print the I G Online Exhibition form and bring it with you. The Instant Gallery submission form found here
