During Observation Week, families are invited into the studios to watch their children in class and discuss their progress with teachers.

During Assessment Week, teachers formally assess students based on defined skill sets for each class, then report cards are sent to parents.

Placements for 2023-24 are also finalized this week.

Our last day of classes this term is Saturday, March 11.

We close for 2 weeks for Spring Break March 12-26.

Classes resume Monday, March 27 and continue through to our school show on June 24.

We will be closed on Friday, April 7, for Good Friday.

Classes run as scheduled Saturday and Monday of the Easter Weekend.

We are offering a free class in ISTD Modern Theatre Dance for students in all ballet levels from Ballet 1 Foundation through to Ballet 11 on Saturdays at 3pm.

We were thrilled to welcome Bengt Jörgen and his Ballet Jörgen dancers back to our school for company class as they tour western Canada with their Cinderella production.

Many of our students have participated in past performances with the company, and this year FVAD student Veranika was invited to perform with them.

Fun fact: Miss Sarah trained with Ballet Jorgen while in Toronto's George Brown Dance professional program.

Our Contemporary 10-11 class is presenting Ms. Ana's choreography of Mirrors at the Lamondance & Friends Gala in North Vancouver on Saturday, Feb 25. We're so pleased to be participating again in their annual fundraising event!

Production week is June 21-24.

There are no classes June 21 as we rehearse at the school, or June 22-24 as we will be at the Clarke Theatre Thursday to Saturday.
