This memo from DHSR ACLS outlines some changes to quarterly monitoring of adult care homes and family care homes by DSSs in FY 21–22.
DSS staff have been provided training on monitoring these rule areas in the hope that this will improve consistency across the state. It is also hoped that this will help facilities to be prepared for annual/biennial surveys and avoid citations.
