The City of Fort Worth’s Diversity and Inclusion Department, Business Equity Division supports capacity building efforts for aspiring and existing Business Equity Firms (minority and women business enterprises), or disadvantaged business enterprises. Leads efforts to close racial and gender gaps in City contracting and procurement; and assists Business Equity Firms in gaining access to prime contracting and sub-contracting opportunities compliant with the City Council’s most current Business Equity Ordinance #24534-11-2020(PDF, 17MB)

All companies/individuals wishing to do business with the City of Fort Worth must register as a Bidder on the PeopleSoft Supplier Portal. Please refer to the Bidder Registration Directions(DOCX, 38KB)(DOCX, 28KB) to accurately complete registration. You will need a copy of your W-9 to upload during the registration process.

Design projects are typically pipelines for water, reclaimed, waste, and storm waters; as well as tanks, pumping stations, plants for the types of waters, and other requirements.
Construction projects are bid after completion of the designs.
