Earlier this week, the fire department responded to a call to the Assisted Living area at Fairway View Senior Communities. An electrical fire occurred in the boiler panel and was successfully contained within the maintenance room. This fire produced a lot of smoke, but no flames needed to be extinguished. We're relieved to share that all tenants were promptly evacuated from the affected area, and we're grateful to report that no one was harmed. We were able to get all tenants back in their apartments after the event except for those in the Par 6 area, who were temporarily housed elsewhere in the building overnight.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Ortonville and Big Stone City fire departments, the local police, and our dedicated Fairway View staff for their swift response and assistance that night. Their professionalism and quick action helped ensure everyone's safety.

The safety and well-being of our tenants remain our top priorities, and we are working diligently to assess and address any necessary repairs.

On December 7, Harvest Trail had their Christmas celebration. A traditional meal was served along with a potluck for families and staff. We also played some games and did lots of visiting. There were about 50 people in attendance. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone, from Harvest Trail.

What a FUN surprise!! The 4-H group came with balloon bouquets for many of our residents this week. So many smiles and a fantastic way to celebrate the art of giving! Thank you so much!!!!!!!
