As mentioned in the SBAP Summer 2020 Newsletter, Service Provider Paper Logs are in the process of being updated for the 2020-2021 school year by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and will be available the week of September 7th on the PCG SBAP website under Document Library: Service Provider Paper Logs 2020-2021.
Please note that important changes have been made to each log in order to provide consistency and to help LEAs capture the required documentation necessary to file a claim.
The following new Service Types will be added to the paper logs and to the EasyTrac Logging Wizard:
- Direct Session: Telemedicine
- Direct Session: Make-Up Telemedicine
Important notes to remember:
- Service Documentation should occur for all Related Services, regardless of whether the service method is currently considered reimbursable. Only reimbursable related services/service types will be submitted to Medicaid.
LEAs participating in the SBAP must use the information in the updated logs for entering or importing dates of service on or after 7/1/20.
It is recommended as a best practice to enter service logs into EasyTrac™ by the 15th of each month. Due to timely filing limits of 180 days from the date of service, LEAs could miss reimbursement opportunities if services are not entered timely.
