The FY26 Brownfields Multipurpose, Assessment, and Cleanup Grant Guidelines have been published!
The guidelines and related applicant resources are now available on www.grants.gov and on the OBLR MARC Grant Application Resources webpage. There is a new PDF submission checklist and an updated version of the FY 2026 Cleanup Grant Sample Site Characterization Letter Template available for State/Tribal Environmental Authorities.
The application submission deadline is January 28, 2026.
Pre-recorded training videos provide an overview of the general submission, Application Information Sheet, and threshold criteria requirements. The videos and corresponding presentation slides are available on the OBLR MARC Grant Application Resources webpage under open solicitations.
EPA will have two National Applicant Outreach Webinars, which will only cover the Narrative criteria:
