Dear Service Providers,

The upcoming fiscal year will include joint oversight of the Interim Housing (IH) Portfolio by the LA County Homeless Services & Housing (HSH) and LAHSA.

In the upcoming weeks, providers can expect scheduled training sessions, additional office hours, and implementation support to help prepare for this transition. To support these efforts, providers and stakeholders can use the HMIS Inventory Resources  page, which serves as a central repository for the Interim Housing portfolio management within the Los Angeles Continuum of Care (CoC). There you will find important updates, communications, guidance, training materials, Inventory Module system enhancements, and other key resources.

As part of the FY26 Interim Housing Portfolio Transition, all HSH Tier 1 Interim Housing programs will remain in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and utilize the Inventory Module. Several Interim Housing projects will undergo funding and project changes that will be effective in HMIS on July 1st, 2026. To ensure a smooth transition and avoid service disruptions, providers must review their project’s renewal status and complete the applicable actions describe in the attached document below.
