JACPAC is supporting Brendan Kelly for U.S. Congress representing the IL-12th district. Prior to serving as State's Attorney in St Clair County, IL, he served as an officer in the U.S. Navy, where he was stationed around the world, including Israel. He was named "Southern Illinois Prosecutor of the Year" for his tough, effective work to prosecute crime and pursue justice by the Southern Illinois Law Enforcement Commission. As State's Attorney, he created a children's justice division. He has worked his whole career to care for the most vulnerable, including revolutionizing the prosecution of domestic violence cases, suing banks for fraudulent dealing, and suing large pharmaceutical manufacturers for maximizing profits while misleading patients about the dangers of prescribed opioids. He will be a strong voice for our issues in Washington, D.C.
