Presbyterians Today Creates Online Devotional
Presbyterians Today’s Advent and Christmas devotional for 2020 is exclusively online. “Let Us Light Candles: Matthew 25 and the work of Advent” begins November 29 and ends with Epiphany, January 6. The devotional is inspired by Baptist pastor Howard Thurman’s poem “I Will Light Candles This Christmas.”
Join Online Advent Discussion with NEXT Church
NEXT Church offers a four-week reflection and discussion series for Advent that begins today. At 3 p.m. each Monday, Biblical scholar Adam Clark leads participants in exploring Advent lectionary texts to spark imagination and inspiration.
PC(USA) to Hold Telethon for Giving Tuesday
PC(USA) will hold a telethon on Giving Tuesday (December 1). This all-day event is a virtual celebration of the collective power of Presbyterian generosity, as we profess by our actions—and with our gifts—that we can accomplish far more together than any one of us can do alone. On Giving Tuesday, join with Presbyterians from near and far for prayer and worship, fun with some familiar faces, and an unparalleled opportunity for your generosity to make a lasting impact around the country and around the world.
Camp Hanover Open for Overnight Guests

Camp Hanover is now able to offer Newell Cabin, Wise Cabins, and longhouses for overnight and weekend get-aways for individuals, families, and households. Whether you prefer the comfort of "glamping" or your tastes lean more to basic camping, Camp Hanover can provide you an opportunity for respite in a safe environment, where you can experience the beauty of God's creation. Cook your meals over a campfire, hike the trails, fish in the lake, or simply relax and renew.

Chester's Grace Cafe Turns Five
Chester Church has evolved its food and fellowship ministry in response to COVID-19. Instead of hosting congregation members and neighbors for dinner inside the church, Grace Cafe began operating as a drive-through in March. In a new video, Pastor Gordon Mapes and program chair Cliff Noe discuss the cafe's start and its impact over five years.
