India celebrated Teachers day on Saturday and we would like to thank all our Language School teachers, Yoga teachers, Dance and Music teachers and IYG advisors for working tirelessly behind the scenes to make ISW the vibrant organization that it is. For all your selfless efforts to teach - Thank you !

ISW has been celebrating Ganesh Pooja for nine years but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Ganeshotsav event had to be virtual. "Bappa", as he is fondly called, went online! The entertainment program theme of Retro to Metro (1980 - 2020) focused on on Hindi and Marathi movies of that era. The benefit of a virtual event was that Indian personalities like Music composer Dr. Salil Kulkarni, famous compere Sudheer Gadgil and Marathi Bana fame Ashok Hande shared their wishes online. Many communities have lost ground in counting due to COVID. ISW is partnering with a group of nonprofits in the area and planning a Phone Bank Marathon for the US Census.
