Registration Open for Called Meeting

A called meeting will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, January 25, at 7:00 p.m. This meeting is called to hear the sermons of three ministry candidates and to act on the nominations of a minister commissioner and a young adult advisory delegate to the 225th General Assembly. When registering, you may select the candidate you wish to hear preach. Registration closes at noon on January 25. Please review the meeting materials in advance.

Space to Share?

The Facilities Task Force is seeking information from churches and validated ministries about space that may be available for use by presbytery staff. This could be rooms or space available for office use or meetings. Funding is available to cover costs. Please share information about your facility resources by January 15.

Hybrid Worship Workshop Recording Available

A recording of December’s workshop on hybrid ministry is available to view. This event was sponsored by the Small Church Ministry and featured Steve Martin of the Lakelands Institute.

National Fund for Sacred Places is a grant-making program that provides capital grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 as well as wrap-around support services to congregations undertaking once-in-a-generation preservation projects. Learn more on January 26 at noon.

Rev. John H. Thompson, honorably retired, entered the Church Triumphant on December 30. John was a former pastor at Westminster Church in Richmond. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
