A written summary and video recording of the November 21 called meeting are now available. Find both on our website. Please also mark your calendar for the 107th stated meeting which will be held February 20 via Zoom. The deadline for overtures is December 17.
Synod of Mid-America offers monthly pre-recorded sermons that any church may use for online worship. The upcoming sermon, for December 27, is titled Silent No More and will use Isaiah 61:10-62.3 and Luke 2.22-40. Subscribe to the synod's mailing list to be informed of future sermon opportunities.
On January 7, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is leading a training session on FEMA’s 2021 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP). This grant program provides resources for nonprofit and faith-based groups to strengthen their preparedness for terrorist attacks, including active shooting incidents. Register for the training to learn about the grant program and the application process. Please use the church’s name when registering. The training also will be recorded.
Faith & Grief Ministries will hold a support gathering with a holiday focus on December 15. For those who are grieving during this time, the gathering offers help with spiritual practice during Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany.
