Update on the Rhyne Polity and Education Fund
As we approach the season of thanksgiving, a special word of appreciation to all who are honoring Carson Rhyne’s ministry and leadership by supporting the
H. Carson Rhyne, Jr. Polity and Education Fund
at Union Presbyterian Seminary. To date, $18,662.50 has been committed. The fund also has received pledges of $50,000 for this year and another $50,000 over the next five years. Following this generous lead, sessions and individuals continue to be encouraged to consider adding their support to this fund which will benefit students preparing for ministry. Checks and pledges may be sent directly to the seminary, marked for the Rhyne Fund. To God be the Glory!

Share Your Older Adult Ministry News
Does your congregation offer programs or events to minister for, to, and with older adults? The
Presbyterian Older Adult Ministries Network
would love to share ideas with others providing older adult ministries. Please consider writing an article that can be used in the 2019 Older Adult Ministries Planning Guide. Articles can be about a program you offer within your congregation, partnerships you have formed with other organizations, or other activities/events you provide for older adults within your community. Articles should be about the “how to” of various ministries with older adults.
