Face Coverings Required for Travel Starting Wednesday
Beginning Wednesday, April 29th, 2020 we are requiring all customers to provide and wear face coverings at the terminal, in the ticket office, in boarding lines and onboard the vessel.

The current Massachusetts advisory is to wear a face covering (cloth or mask) in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), to help slow the spread of COVID-19. This is also consistent with CDC recommendations.

We are making these advisories a requirement here at Hy-Line. This is being done to protect each other, as the face coverings keep individuals who do not know they are sick from unwittingly spreading the virus to others.

Many of you who have been traveling with us are already wearing a mask or face covering. Now we are requiring all who wish to travel with us to do so. While we anticipate everyone’s understanding and cooperation, we reserve the right to deny travel to anyone who is unwilling to follow this requirement. Hy-Line does not have a large enough supply of coverings to provide all travelers with one so you will need to provide your own , just like when you’re at the grocery store etc.

We thank you for your cooperation and continued support during these difficult times, as we all do our best to navigate through them.
