We are back this week with another fantastic Facebook Live demo! Please join us on Thursday at 10:30 CST for our Fall the Sequel Demo. We love fall so much around here, that we do two fall demo's each year. We just can't squeeze all of our fall samples into one demo. We will have tons of brand-new fall projects to share with you, plus some really cool new books, notions and more! New projects include some wool, some lap quilts, and some smaller quilts. Below is a little sneak peek of just a few of the new projects we'll be sharing. The rest will come trickling in later this week. You won't want to miss this demo! This week is also Wool Club Week at the shop. If you're in wool club, your card was charged today, and your packages are ready for pickup or shipping out tomorrow! If you're not familiar with wool club, it is a collectors club that ships every other month. Club members get eight 7" x 12" pieces of wool plus a free pattern designed by me for just $25.99 per shipment (which is a really good deal!). This month's bundle is a collection of beautiful fall wools and the free pattern is a fall version of my favorite runner that I'm calling Autumn Village. If you're not in the club, you can purchase the pattern as well as the bundle now. Being in the club is so much more fun though because you get the pattern for free and the opportunity to add on any extras needed to make the project (like the background wools). You can join the club now and still get this month's bundle.

Don't forget that my Double Trouble blocks will be revealed in the Stitching Among Friends group on Thursday this week as well. Are you making the Christmas Quilt, the Sewing Quilt or BOTH? The last thing I wanted to mention this week, is that we have a really awesome new beginner series starting in just a couple of months and it is filling up quickly. If you know anyone who might want to learn how to quilt, send them this e-mail! Or, if you want to brush up on your skills, sign up now.

I'm really excited about the changes we've made to this series of classes. We have the wonderful Jackie Barry teaching once again, but we've simplified the first two classes and made it so that you can save your blocks from class one and two to make a large lap quilt in class three. I love the new samples that Jackie just finished as well. In "Q101: Beginning at the Beginning", you will learn all of the basics and make nine blocks (three each of three different blocks) that all contain just straight-line piecing. Then in Q102: Triangles are Our Friends, you'll make some more advanced blocks that include half-square triangles, quarter-square triangles and flying geese. Finally, in Q201: Borders & Binding, you will learn to put the whole quilt together. You can put together a small quilt using just nine of your blocks from one of the previous classes or combine them into the beautiful lab quilt you see below. I'm tempted to take the classes just so I can make this pretty quilt!
