Congratulations to Liquet Medical for receiving a
Commonwealth Commercialization Fund Grant!
The CV SBDC team is proud of the work Liquet is doing to improve the way vascular disease is treated.

Liquet Medical is developing the Versus™ Catheter – a localized drug delivery catheter to treat blood clots in the lungs, otherwise known as Pulmonary Embolism (PE). This device allows a personalized approach to each patient through real-time biometric monitoring and data capture. It will also speed time-to-treatment and lower hospital costs.

We are looking forward to continuing to support Liquet as they advance toward application for FDA Clearance in 2023.

SBA and IRS Updates
EIDL Hardship Accommodation Plan
The SBA has announced a program to help COVID EIDL recipients that have encountered financial hardship. Borrowers may make reduced payments for up to 6 months. The program is for those with EIDL loans of $200,000 or less, but there may be relief for larger credits as well.
Restaurant Revitalization Fund UPDATE
If you applied for Restaurant Revitalization Grant (RRF) funds, keep an eye on your email. The SBA announced that they would be tapping into a portion of $83B in unused funds. SBA has contacted 169 business owners that will receive the money, which will be awarded in the order in which initial applications were received. The recipients will have until March 2023 to spend the money in accordance with program guidelines.
Recordkeeping Tips
Yes, it is already time to start talking about taxes. We realize this may only be considered an exciting topic for the accountants and CPA's in the audience, but for the rest of us, the IRS has put together some tips for recordkeeping to keep tax season a little less stressful.
Need help getting your records organized and ready for taxes? Contact your CV SBDC team to meet with an advisor!
