Houston Poly salesperson Mike Gallaway recently competed at the US National Aerobatic Championships in Salina, Kansas, on September 19-25, 2021. Gallaway won the prestigious Unknown program, giving Gallaway Gold in the flight. It had been five years since Mike competed in the Championships and he used this contest as a warm up for the upcoming World Advanced Championships to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“My goal is to win the World Championship and this contest was a good motivator."
Competition Aerobatics is governed by the FAI, a world wide organization that has overseen all air sport events since 1962. The last time an American Pilot won the World Championships was back in 2008.
