Collection Highlights on Libby
Make the Move to Libby
Overdrive is shifting its primary focus to the Libby app and the Overdrive app will be removed from app stores in February 2022. 

If you are still using the Overdrive app, please consider switching over to the Libby app which has the same collection of titles but a different layout. Ask at the library if you need more information.

MakerSpace Monday
Maker Space Monday

Upper elementary (grade 3-6)

Thanks to a grant from Greg and Mary Thoen and the Friends of the Library, we will now have a designated weekly time for Maker Space Fun after school! The space will feature a wide variety of STEM activities that provide a hands-on learning experience.

Teen Programs
Rescheduled! Teen Talk After-Hours Series
Ages 13 & up
Hands
This after-hours discussion series is geared toward teens. Topics were selected by teens as a way to encourage engagement on topics that enhance diversity and understanding. Snacks and prizes will be available at each session. Registration is encouraged but not required.

● Exclusion, inclusion and discrimination (teens 13 & up) by the Greater Mankato Diversity Council. Learn how peer groups and exclusion and inclusion in schools relates to hurtful discrimination.

Animanga Club
Ages 13-18
Gather with other teens ages to read your favorite Manga and watch Anime, while joining in lively discussions and activities. Meets first and third Thu. each month at 4 p.m. (Subject to change) Library Meeting Rm. Check the Library Calendar for an up-to-date schedule!
Dungeons and Dragons

Ages 12 & up 
The library will offer regular playing time and space to meet other teens who have a love of role-playing games. All playing abilities are welcome, whether you’re an avid fan of D&D or want to see what the game is all about. Wednesdays, 4 p.m.

Teens and Tarot
Teens and Tarot
Ages 14 & up  
Learn about the history of Tarot and how it is used today. In this session, you will get to play with the deck and discover how you can use it as a tool for introspection and creativity. Bring your own deck or use the library’s!
