We share Advising Community @ Idaho State news along with a handy resource related to undergraduate student petitions.

Important Dates and Deadlines


October 16 - Late 8-week courses begin

October 17 - Early 8-week course grading closes at 5 p.m.

October 20 - Last day to add/drop late 8-week courses

October 23 - Spring 2024 Class Schedule viewable online

October 27 - Last day to Withdraw from full-semester courses

Advising Student-Athletes Seminar


A great opportunity to learn more about best practices for guiding and advising student-athletes here at ISU through an amazing ISU academic experience. Discussion will include current student-athlete advising policies, data on the student-athlete experience, and resources around campus to assist in working with student-athletes.


Audience:  faculty, academic advisors, peer advisors


Region 8 NACADA Conference


Mark your calendars for March 4 - 6, 2024 as the NACADA Region 8 Conference is set to take place in Boise, Idaho. This is a great opportunity for Faculty and Primary Advisors to promote and support academic advising to enhance the educational development of students.
