Follow-up
Accessible Learning Workshop (3/13/24)
| |
|
It was great to see folks and discuss the ways we are already thinking about accessibility and aspiring towards disability justice. We wanted to follow up with this recording of the session that focuses on Chris Dickson’s work around the accessibility and accommodation at CU as well as some opportunities to think and dream deeply about how to reframe our discussion of disability.
While the entire session wasn’t recording, we did record this portion which is a great way to learn about accommodations, accessibility, and integrated work from Chris Dickson (31:05 minutes).

“Leadership Skills - Words for Leaders” | |
The Students from OLC345-1 Spring ‘24 are pleased to announce the completion of their Class Project, “Leadership Skills - Words for Leaders.”
This resource (linked above) was completed as a collaborative effort by all of the students in this class as a resource for CU faculty teaching Leadership courses at CU. It presents and defines attributes of leadership in a glossary of terms.

We have revised our Capstone class to support Graduating Student Final Exhibitions as well as Big10 completion, job market preparation, and overall reflection on learning.
While this course had been very instructor-specific in the past, it will now have consistent meeting times, goals, and projects, and will include storytelling and reflection to wrap up their college journey.
Click here to see the Capstone Syllabus Template.
