Curriculum official becomes president of international education communication/technology group

Briju Thankachan, Ph.D., director of curriculum assessment design and improvement, was named president of the International Division of the Association for Educational Communication and Technology, during the recent AECT International convention in Kansas City, Mo.

Thankachan was part of several panels and presentations at the convention. Under his mentorship, two of his former instructional technology students received first place in the AECT Design and Development Competition.

The International Division of the AECT facilitates communication among educational technology professionals and students worldwide.
