Often in life we grow weary!!! Can I get an AMEN????
Sometimes we even get so weary that we don't even want to read/look at a Bible............
In such times, how good it is to get a good word or good news!
Proverbs 15:23 (KJV)
23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
For too many of us, the holidays are, AGAIN, in a word, hard if not horrendous.
Try as WE might to be prepared and hope for a better outcome THIS year-well, hopefully, YOU have no idea what I am talking about......

Right before retiring last evening-after a particular hard days and trying weekend, I received a an unexpected, simple TEXT message with no name of the sender-I believe I know who sent it-????
TIME 8:22 PM
“WE ARE NOW BEGINNING OUR PRAYER THIS EVENING.
DO YOU HAVE ANY PRAYER REQUEST?”
Like a bolt of lightning my WEARY heart was ENCOURAGED!!!!!
The person whom I believe texted me is a beloved PASTOR friend who has FAITHFULLY conducted a NON-STOPPING PRAYER MEETING nightly for MANY, MANY YEARS!!!!
YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOT ONCE A WEEK OR ONCE A MONTH-BUT YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This man and the Church he pastors is not rich or affluent-he is neither rich or famous-in fact, he and his wife make peanut brittle on the side to earn money.
Yet, he and his faithful congregation meet EVERY NIGHT, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK and PRAY for others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you or I even imagine how many PRAYERS have yet to be answered???????
Better yet, how many PRAYERS HAVE been ANSWERED?????????
Much like a baseball player is considered a SUCCESS if they get a hit .300 or above-3 of 10-is elected to the Hall of Fame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 Timothy 4:8 (KJV)
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
TODAY, truly, is the first day of the week as well as the first day of December.
Who knows what lies ahead and WHAT God can and WILL do....

I don't know what this message means to YOU, but I am encouraged just by reading what God has given me today is these simple words written.
