Dear League Community!

What a beautiful start to the Fair — and just like that, two days are already behind us! Thank you all for the energy, grace, and dedication you’ve brought to these first moments of our nine days together. Today our volunteer team was led in collaboration with AVA Gallery- We are dedicated to forging new collaborations as well support the creative community in NH.

Looking ahead to Wednesday we are hosting Legislator's Day with 50 guests of leaders shutout the state to celebrate the League. Thursday, we are honored to welcome members of the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance, including Executive Director Jennifer Goodman and Board Chair Jeanne Forrester, along with dedicated board members. This remarkable team works tirelessly across the state to preserve and restore New Hampshire’s historic landmarks — a mission that beautifully aligns with our own commitment to tradition, and excellence in craft.

4-day booth holders take down their booths on Tuesday, August 4th after the close of the Fair. You may not start breaking down until after 5:00 PM.

5-day booth holders can begin setting up on Tuesday, August 4th after their booth space partner has completely vacated the spot. Take-down will begin on Sunday, August 9th at 5:30pm with all other booth holders.

An email was sent before the Fair (from Molly Harper) with booth holder details for communication during the crossover period - please review that information as needed.

Arriving craftsmen, please feel free to come and join the Craftsmen dinner while you wait for your booth space to become available! We will have someone in the Fair office until at least 6 PM to ensure you can pick up your packets.

Fair staff will be on site on Tuesday night to help facilitate this turnover. Thank you for your patience and professionalism during take-down and set-up on this busy evening.

Please reach out to the event manager, Karina Jonas at eventmanager@nhcrafts.org with any questions you may have.

Craftsmen/badgeholders are allowed to ride the lift without cost during the Fair. We do have the passes in the Fair Office.

We appreciate the generosity of the Mt Sunapee team in staying late to staff the chairlift for us the evening of the Craftsmen Night!

Please remember that we are guests at the mountain, and need to be respectful to the mountain staff. If you believe there is any issue regarding an interaction with a member of the Vail team, please inform Karina or Kate as they can directly connect to management to investigate and resolve issues. We want to maintain a positive relationship at the mountain, where the Fair has been based for 62 years.

ONGOING REMINDERS

In case you missed it -

Badges at the Fair

Booth holders - If you need to leave a badge for an assistant, they should only be left at the Badge holder Tent beside Gate 2.

ACD and TSATF participants and demonstrators - you will need to sign out a badge daily and return it. This only takes a minute at the badge tent as you enter, and is both an important part of ensuring appropriate access at the event, and keeping us aware of who is on the property as a Fair participant, in the event of any emergency. Please ask for a FAIR PARTICIPANT BADGE.

If you have any questions after you carefully review the Tentpoles overview, please reach out for clarification. We are here to help!! nhleague@nhcrafts.org
