Juneteenth Holiday - Friday, June 18
On September 20, 2020, Governor Murphy signed legislation (S19), which designates the third Friday in June as a State and public holiday, known as Juneteenth Day. Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when Union General Gordon Granger rode into Galveston, Texas to inform enslaved people of the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation and their freedom. 

All Borough Offices including the recycling office and recycling center will be closed on Friday, June 18. 

Regular garbage, yard waste and recycling collection is not affected. 
Municipal Building Summer Hours
Summer hours for the Municipal Building will be in effect starting Monday, June 21, 2021. Summer hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and closed on Fridays.

All Borough Offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2021 for Labor Day. Regular office hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm) will resume on Tuesday, September 7.

Summer hours are only in effect for the Municipal Building. All other facilities will operate on a normal schedule. This also will have no effect on garbage, recycling or yard waste pick up.
Fair Lawn Fire Department Seeks Volunteers
The Fair Lawn Fire Department is seeking volunteers ages 16 and older to work along side Fair Lawn's Bravest. All training and equipment is provided by the Borough. See the below flyer for more details.
Weekly Kosher Meal Pick Ups

FREE Weekly Meal Pick Ups at Memorial School from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesdays. Available for all NJ families with school age children (18 and under)

Memorial Pool Opens for 2021 Season
 
General Information
 
Welcome to the 2021 season of the Fair Lawn Memorial Pool. The pool is scheduled to open on Wednesday, June 23 with the pool's final day on Monday, September 6 (Labor Day).
 
Additionally, due to the re-opening of Fair Lawn Schools, Memorial Pool will be closed Wednesday, September 1 - Friday, September 3. Memorial Pool will be open on Saturday, September 4 through Monday, September 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
 
Memberships will be available to Fair Lawn residents ONLY.

Resident Pricing
 
Family Memberships (Parent(s), Guardian(s) and school aged children up to and still in college): $200.00
 
Adult Memberships: $95.00
Junior Memberships: $60.00
Senior Citizen Memberships: $25.00 ($25.00 for spouse)
Non-Swimmer Memberships: Free to Seniors ages 62 and over ONLY.

Proper identification or documentation is required. School lists will be utilized for children to verify their enrollment in the school district.
 
Registration
 
Registrations will only be accepted in-person at the Fair Lawn Community Center beginning on Monday, June 14. Hours for registration at the Community Center from Monday, June 14 to Tuesday, June 22 are 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Beginning on June 23, in-person registration hours at the Community Center will be 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, seven days a week.
 
Pool Tag Pick Ups
 
Pick up of Memorial Pool tags purchased online can be picked up at the Community Center beginning on Monday, June 14. Hours for pick up are weekdays from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on weekends from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Beginning on June 23, in-person registration and tag pick up hours at the Community Center will be 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, seven days a week. All in-person registrations will obtain their tags at the time of registration.
