Aloe Queen de Mexico has been a FairTSA producer of Aloe products since 2017. Aloe Queen employs a coalition of farmers throughout Mexico to harvest over 1500 metric tons of fresh Aloe Vera leaves each week. Their Community Development Projects throughout the years have always centered local farming communities and have provided invaluable skills and materials to not only assist farmers in achieving high yields for lower input costs, but also supporting a greater quality of life for farming families. For example, in 2022 Aloe Queen invested in distributing new farming technologies that have allowed many local Aloe farmers to convert to organic agriculture and stop purchasing any herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides as well as greatly increase soil health.
W.S. Badger Company are the creators of a family-owned, environmentally-conscious skincare company. With over 25 years in business, the family behind Badger has always been committed to environmentally responsible processing of ingredients. Their relationship with FairTSA began in 2017 and they have strongly supported all work carried out for Aloe Vera farming communities in Mexico. The company has directly advocated for vulnerable populations, even testifying in Congress for Paid Family Leave. Badger has most notably created a variety of Badger Balms packaged in a recyclable tin made with solar power, with effects ranging from after-sun skincare to aromatherapy as a sleep aid.
We are proud to have these two entities dedicated to climate justice participating in the FairTSA program and look forward to purchasing a set of Badger Cocoa Butter Lip Balms for the office!
