Town Council Meeting Wednesday, May 3


Join the Town Council meeting tomorrow evening at 6:30 p.m. in-person at the Fairfax Women’s Club, 46 Park Road or online.


Agenda highlights for this meeting include:


  • Status Report on Long-Term Outdoor Dining Structures
  • Presentation of Public Comments made on the Public Review Draft Sixth Cycle Housing Element, provide direction on any changes needed, and authorize the Town Manager to send the updated Draft to HCD

Just Cause Eviction Workshop this Saturday


Join the neutral facilitators online on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m. We may not need the full five hours, so please make sure to show up on time.



You may register online and request any accessibility accommodations, as needed. Registration will help us know how many people plan to attend the Workshop and make sure it is not limited; you do not need an Eventbrite account to register for the workshop.


Registration is recommended but not required.

Chipper Days 2023


The Chipper Day Program is a wildfire prevention and vegetation removal program that is paid for by MWPA and available to all Fairfax residents.

Fairfax Police show support for Child Abuse Awareness Month


National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect.


To recognize and support this month of awareness, Public Service Technician Khan and Corporal Ali dropped off special care packages to the Ross Valley Charter School and Manor School. These packages were provided by the Jeanette Prandi Center and are designed to help school staff when supporting children that have been victims of abuse.

Fairfax celebrates Earth Day + Take Back Day


Fairfax celebrated Earth Day by planting a tree in Peri Park to honor Arbor Day and hosting Take Back Day. Thank you to the community members who participated and made these events a success!

Earlier this year Fairfax launched its Landscape and Equipment Trade-in Rebate Program, and there are still funds available!


Who is eligible?


Residents and commercial landscapers with an active Fairfax business license are eligible to receive these rebates.

Ember Stomp 2023

Ember Stomp invites residents to learn their role in being part of a fire-adapted community and how we can all prepare for wildfire. This year offers a bigger space with new music, entertainment, exhibits, vendors and a live burn demonstration. This FREE event is fun for the whole family.
