Leadership Fairfield is a nine month program – September through May- featuring nine sessions and a recognition lunch.


The Leadership Fairfield program includes training in communication and leadership skills focusing on both personal and professional development.


Leadership Fairfield alumni know our community because they have studied it and experienced it. They have studied our local history and they understand the structure of our government, economy, human services, and educational systems.


The Leadership Class will begin on September 20.

2023 AWARDS


In addition to our great meal and speaker, we will be presenting three awards this year. Criteria for the awards is listed below. If you have someone you would like to nominate, please see the criteria below and send an email to peggy.emerson@fairfieldchamber.com before September 13, 2023.



Chamber Membership: The business must be a current member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.


Employee Size: Eligible businesses should have a workforce of between 2 and 100 Full Time employees.


Physical Location: The business must be located within the geographical boundaries of Fairfield or Fairfield Township, Ohio.


Established Business: The business should have been in operation for a minimum of two years from the date of application submission. Start-up companies and newly established businesses may not qualify.


Chamber Membership: The business must be a current member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.

Physical Location: The business must be located within the geographical boundaries of Fairfield or Fairfield Township, Ohio.

Demonstrated Improvement Impact: The nominated business must have undertaken significant initiatives or projects that have made a positive impact on the local business community. The improvements could be related to economic growth, community development, job creation, or enhancing the overall quality of life for residents in the area.


Residency: The nominee must be a resident of Fairfield or Fairfield Township, Ohio, and actively engaged in community activities within the area.


Volunteer Efforts: The individual should have a significant and sustained record of volunteer service in the community. The volunteer work may be for local nonprofit organizations, schools, religious institutions, community events, or any other initiatives that contribute to the betterment of the community.



Impact: The nominee's volunteer efforts should have made a positive impact on the

lives of others or the community as a whole.

It’s that time of year again for the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities annual DSP Appreciation Honk-A-Thon!


Join us on Wednesday, September 13 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. as we thank and celebrate DSPs (Direct Support Professionals, or caregivers) in downtown Hamilton during DSP Appreciation week! You can either give us your best HONK as you drive through downtown Hamilton, or you can bring your handheld sign and stand with us in front of Inspiration Studios located at 140 High Street!


Take this special opportunity to celebrate those that care for individuals with developmental disabilities with your appreciation signs in hand! We hope to HEAR or SEE you all there!
