Fairfield County Commissioners Issue Scam Alert to Protect the Public

On August 8, Fairfield County released a warning to the public about a recent scam targeting residents with unsolicited communications and invoicing purporting to come from county offices. Scammers may request individuals who have utilized county services to provide payment for services via a wire transfer or other means. Should you receive communication purporting to be from a Fairfield County department or agency requesting payment, please contact the department/agency directly. Click here to read more.

Meet Lyndsey Woodrum, Second Shift Lead Dispatcher at the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office

Lyndsey is the calm voice guiding people through some of the most stressful moments of their lives. It is her responsibility to answer non-emergency and 9-1-1 calls, dispatch deputies, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS), and provide potentially lifesaving instructions through Emergency Medical Dispatching.
