Meet Jessica Boster, Member of the Board of Developmental Disabilities
The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is made up of seven board members and a superintendent who work together to support individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the county. Guided by a vision of recognizing the value of every person, the Board meets monthly and leads with a focus on fiscal responsibility, collaboration, and innovation.
The Board's direct impact on individuals and families inspired Jessica to serve. With both professional experience working with children with disabilities and a personal connection as a parent, Jessica is committed to strengthening services and expanding opportunities for those served.
"Many people don’t realize how much happens behind the scenes. From early intervention to adult services, employment support, and advocacy, our Board and leadership team play a critical role in coordinating resources and ensuring support is accessible, effective, and accountable. Our Board supports individuals with developmental disabilities at every stage of life, helping them access services, build independence, and fully participate in the community," said Jessica.
