Meet Jennifer Sturgeon, Clerical Specialist at the Fairfield County Workforce Center

Jennifer is often the first friendly face people see when they arrive. She manages the Workforce Center’s calendar, coordinates meetings and events, and keeps communication flowing by answering phones and assisting staff and guests. Behind the scenes, she supports key programs like driver’s education, helps the financial assistant with invoices, and ensures supplies are ordered and stocked so operations run seamlessly. Her ability to juggle many responsibilities with care and efficiency makes her an essential part of the team. Click here to read more.

Meet Sarah Fortner, Chair of the Central Ohio Regional Prevention Council (CORPC)

Sarah began her service with CORPC in 2022 after being appointed by County Commissioners. She was drawn to the opportunity to ensure Fairfield County had a meaningful voice in regional conversations about prevention. With years of experience serving her community, she recognized the importance of bringing local insight to discussions that influence funding and services. Her ability to advocate for community needs and identify service gaps made her a natural leader, and in November 2024, she was appointed Chair by the OCTF Board. Click here to read more.
