Fairfield County Economic and Workforce Development Director Rick Szabrak was recently named to the Columbus Business First Power 125. Rick does a great job leading and supporting economic development activities in Fairfield County and is an excellent leader for the Fairfield County Workforce Center. Rick leads the Area 20 Workforce Development Board and the Fairfield County 33 Alliance. Congratulations, Rick!

With the support of amazing partners at Ohio University, Hocking College, Community Action, and Lancaster City Schools - students involved in Fairfield County Workforce Center's EXPLORE Summer Camps will dive into exciting career pathways in advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and construction. These FREE camps are open to Fairfield County students entering grades 6, 7, and 8 in the 2025-2026 school year. Meet Fairfield County Sheriff's Community Response Unit

The Community Response Unit is a three-member law enforcement team dedicated to providing educational outreach, community engagement, and supplemental enforcement services to the citizens of Fairfield County.
