District refinances debt, reduces property taxes
Fairview Park City School District Treasurer Kim Sperling recently announced that the refinancing of district bonds means a substantial savings for taxpayers.

"The bonds were originally issued in 2005 for the Gemini Project," Sperling said. "In 2012 and 2013, a refunding was done on those bonds. Due to favorable market conditions and the opportunity to save money for the community, the district made the decision to refund the 2012 and 2013 bonds."
