Family and Community Engagement

A new face in the district is Ms. Carrie Sullivan, Family and Community Engagement Coordinator. Ms. Sullivan spent many years in the classroom as a teacher and also was a middle/high school counselor. She will be helping families connect with community resources and become more engaged in the education process. Click here to watch a welcome video with Carrie.

September's Theme: CREATE
Each month we will highlight one of the nine elements of the Student Skills Profile (pictured below) throughout various learning opportunities.

For September, we are celebrating "CREATE". At Fairview Park City Schools, this means: "We use a wide range of techniques to develop original ideas. We view failure as an opportunity to learn, and understand that analyzing and refining ideas if necessary for innovation to occur."
