2nd Sunday of Lent (B) | Feb 28, 2021
Deacon Matt Newsome, campus minister
As Christians, we are called to endure suffering with patience and charity. But that's easier said than done! Our readings for the 2nd Sunday of Lent speak of the importance of trusting God in the midst of our trials, even -- and especially -- when we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. That's the subject of my "minute homily" this week.

Campus Ministry is here to help you reconnect with God and the Church during this season of Lent. Please take advantage of some of the opportunities we have listed below. Our small groups especially are a great way to make connections, grow in your faith, and support one another, especially now when large group gatherings are not an option. If you'd like to participate but the meeting times conflict with your schedule, why not prayerfully consider starting a group of your own? If that's something you feel called to do, we are happy to provide all the training and resources you need.

In Christ,
Deacon Matt

  • We had a great conversation about the importance of Confession on CCM Connect last week! If you missed it, be sure to check it out!
“Small groups are the place where our great big church can get small and personal, where we’re known, loved, and cared for.
