Mortgage Burning Ceremony

Over the last few years, there have been 9 Habitat homeowners who have paid off their mortgages! To celebrate this amazing accomplishment, we gathered together to burn their mortgage papers! See some pictures from the event here.

Upcoming Faith Build

Are you interested in participating in our Faith Build? We want church groups, and friends of the faith community to gather to help build and fund a home for a local family. Please let us know if you or your organization can help! Email Amanda Gunter at [email protected]. Faith Build information and resources can be found online

Recycling with a Purpose

We only 1 month left to collect aluminum cans for our can competition through Novelis. Bring all your aluminum cans to the ReStore by November 21 for them to be counted in this competition!

We have seen a big increase in cans, so help us collect even MORE! Every dollar made in recycling metals goes directly to Habitat's homeownership and critical repair programs!

Ways to Support Habitat

As we enter the last quarter of 2022, we are asking you to join us in providing homeownership opportunities to members of our community who would not otherwise be able to afford a home. Please consider donating directly to Hanover and King William Habitat's Annual Giving Fund. When we all work together, we can make amazing things happen!

If you have questions regarding donations, contact Michele at [email protected].

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 29, 2022. People demonstrate generosity in many ways on GivingTuesday. Think about how you can participate volunteer with us, donate or shop at the ReStore, or make a financial contribution to Habitat's programs.

We're partnering with Minted this holiday season! Get 20% off all holiday cards & gifts, and Minted will donate 15% of the proceeds from each sale back to Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity. That's getting into the holiday spirit!
