What It's About

The understanding of God that many Christians insist is so clear in the Bible makes faith seem like an all-or-nothing proposition. When much of that rigid projection seems in doubt, it’s not surprising that many people leave behind this take-it-or-leave-it religion. Pastor Mark Feldmeir offers an introduction to a God that many people weren’t aware existed—a mysterious, uncontainable, still-active God who loves and cares for real people with real problems.

Why I Recommend It

This book is for people who have asked the hard questions about God and Scripture and are wondering if they can still call themselves a Christian. Spoiler alert: yes you can! Feldmeir moves past doctrine and dogma, deep down to the heart of who Jesus was and how God loves. His examples and ideas come from all sorts of lovely, surprising, and beautiful places, including a whole section on physics!

What It's About

This is not actually an article, but a newsletter you can sign up for. There are free and paid options, but the free one is fantastic on its own. Pastor Nadia shares sermons, prayer, and devotionals about everyday life and faith.

Why I Recommend It

Pastor Nadia is so relatable. I feel seen when I read her stuff, because she’s talking about regular life. She has a wonderful way of helping me to experience God in places, people, and situations I might never have otherwise noticed the presence of the Divine. She is always full of grace, humor, and just the right amount of sarcasm!
