St. Patrick’s 38th Annual Garage Sale

September 9-12, 2026

We are now accepting donations and need your help to prepare for this year's event. Please consider volunteering to sort, price, and stock items. We will be working continuously, including weekends, to prepare the social halls.

Here are the details for volunteers:

• Location: Mahon Event Center
• Hours: Doors open at 8:30 am (stay as long as you are able)
• Perks: Lunch will be provided
• Requirements: No experience required

It takes over 40 volunteers each day to sort, price, and stage the daily donations. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and support a great cause.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an approach to the religious formation of the child rooted in both Liturgies of the Catholic Mass (Scripture and Eucharist) along with the educational principles of Maria Montessori. Children gather in an "Atrium" room prepared for them, which contains simple, yet beautiful materials created for hands-on learning. Children as young as three are welcome to begin learning with a 1:1 teaching model. Atrium Sessions are offered Mondays through Thursdays for 90 minutes each for all children age 3 years old - 4th grade.

Family Faith Formation program is offered to all children who are entering 5th & 6th grade this fall. This teaching year we're going to study the Catholic Bible using God's Plan in Scripture (GPS). Why study the Bible? As parents we must live out our faith in order to teach by example. We want our children to understand scripture is a timeless collection of stories, teachings, and events inspired by God and written for our benefit. By learning to read the Bible, we and our children develop a deeper relationship with God and learn more about ourselves. This program is beautifully illustrated and offers a wonderful opportunity for our children to fully understand God's stories from the Bible.

Preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a 2-year program. Teens begin when they enter 7th grade in the fall and will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the spring of their 8th grade year. 7th grade and second year 8th grade students attend classes at Our Lady of Grace in Edina.

Holy Women of the Bible Retreat

Saturday, October 10th / Mahon Center / 9:30am-4pm

Join women from around the Archdiocese for the 4th annual Women's Day Retreat! Our 4 Catholic speakers will talk about holy women from the Bible beginning with Our Blessed Mother, Saints Anne, Elizabeth, Martha & Mary, Deborah, Esther, Ruth & Naomi. Learn how we can derive strength from these Holy Women, especially our Blessed Mother & say YES to God’s will for our lives! The day includes; breakfast & lunch, leather journal & pen, Mass, Adoration & Rosary, social hour, shopping & lots of door prizes, including Catholic image leather purses, totes & wallets! COST: $50 per person.
