Dear Parents,
To say this has been an unusual year is an understatement. We at St. John’s have been working to provide a safe, sound approach to faith formation for your children. We appreciate and have listened to your feedback as we made these plans.
We will be starting Faith Formation in the beginning of October. For the first two months at least we will be using a home school model (we will reevaluate the situation at the end of November).
We’re continuing to use the Sadlier Books we’ve been using as they have an online support section for each grade and lesson. We want to partner with you by establishing a homeschooling program that would take 30 minutes per child per week. A parent packet has been created to assist you as you work with your child on each lesson. Please visit www.webelieveweb.com for grades 1-6 for additional help.
Grades 7 & 8 will be using the St. Mary’s Press book The Catholic Connections Handbook for Middle Schoolers. A separate packet has been created for both grades.

Paper Registration forms are also available in the Welcome Center outside the Faith Formation Office, if you’d prefer.
If your child is new to our program please bring/mail us a copy of their baptismal certificate. We need to record it for our records. Please do this as soon as possible. If you can’t put your hands on the certificate, simply call the church of record and they will send you a new copy.
I will be in contact with you to set up a date and time for you to come to the Welcome Center to pick up a book and parent packet for each child registered. Please be prepared to state your time and date preference within the registration..
I am available at the Welcome Center Sunday 9:00-11:00 am, Monday - Wednesday 9:30- 4:00 to answer any questions/concerns you may have and to provide additional support.
