We did it! All of us got through the first week of school whether our children are attending in-person, doing online, or a combination of both. It was an exciting day on Tuesday morning for Cade getting ready for school, anticipating seeing friends, and meeting his new teacher. It didn't seem to bother him one bit how different things were going to be and that he would have to wear a mask. It was a long six months being home and any sense of "normal" was exciting, comforting, and welcoming to him. As adults, sometimes we are quick to complain about the situation we are in. It reminds us how amazing and full of faith and love our children truly are. Jesus even acknowledges this, "The greatest in the Kingdom of heaven is the one who humbles himself and becomes like this child. And whoever welcomes in my name one such child as this, welcomes me." (Mt 18:4-5).
