Reconciling in Christ (RIC) team has been busy learning more about the process to be intentionally welcoming to ALL. Several members met on Sat Jan 11th for a 5-hour webinar to help us plan out our information and interaction with the congregation.
Of course we had snacks to keep us energized for the session!
The team also met on Jan 18th and are planning the 1 on 1 conversations we will have with interested parishioners.
More details coming soon.............

ST. PAULY SHED

Did you know that St. Pauly told our church that our shed is the busiest shed in the state? We have wonderful community support. The shed pays a few cents per lb for the clothing and we consistently have rec'd around $6,000 per year. That's a lot of clothes!  Remember to bring your items to church.

Speaking of the shed, do you live very nearby the church and have free time? Our "Shed Crew" could use a hand for a little while.

Reach out to Ursala K or Vera H.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

As God calls us to pray for one another, there is solace in community. The more we understand what we’re going through, the more we can comfort one another and share experiences. Pastor Chris encourages mutual prayer and care but without being intrusive. She would also like those making additions and deletions to the list to have the loved one’s permission to do so.

PASTOR CHRIS’ REQUEST

I am still learning names and family relationships, so please continue to wear your name tags – especially into Coffee Hour – even if we’ve had numerous conversations. Thank you so much!

The invitation to have one-to-one meetings is still offered too. Perhaps in the New Year, we can learn more about each other.
