Thank You from Pastor Chris

Dear Faith Family,

Thank you all for the many ways you helped make our Christmas Eve candlelight service such a meaningful and holy celebration. Your faithful presence (both in-person and online), generous financial gifts (all Advent season too), the sharing of musical and vocal talents, faithful liturgical assisting, and the countless behind-the-scenes tasks all came together to proclaim the good news of Christ’s birth with thoughtfulness and care.

Aimee Allen enhanced our worship with her inspiring musical gifts, as did Pr. Jim Krauser, who volunteered to play the organ and direct our choir. With just a few weeks of rehearsal, the choir offered beautifully sung selections, and Dawn Stitham graced us with her remarkable one-person, multi-bell ringing. From those who prepared the sanctuary and welcomed worshipers, to those who assisted in worship—including our youngest assistants—and those who tended to details that often go unseen, each gift mattered. Together, you created a service that reflected the light, hope, and love of Christmas in ways words alone cannot express. Christmas Eve reminds us that God comes among us through willing hearts and shared gifts, and this congregation embodied that truth. Thank you for offering your time, talent, and treasure so generously, and for being a community that shines Christ’s light so clearly.

I also want to extend my gratitude for the generous Christmas gift I received from the congregation and for your continued loving support of my ministry, especially through this challenging year. Through the love of Christ that flows through all of you, the New Year is especially hopeful for me. Thank you!

With deep gratitude and Christmas joy,

Pr. Chris

PRAYER LIST JANUARY 2026

As we prepared for the new year, we refreshed our prayer list for 2026. With care and gratitude, we closed the previous list, and all existing names were removed. We invite anyone with intentions, needs, or loved ones they wish us to continue holding in prayer to share them with us. It was our blessing and privilege to lift each request with faith as we entered the year ahead.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

As God calls us to pray for one another, there is solace in community. The more we understand what we’re going through, the more we can comfort one another and share experiences. Pastor Chris encourages mutual prayer and care but without being intrusive. She would also like those making additions and deletions to the list to have the loved one’s permission to do so.
