NEW FAITH TEAM NEEDED

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink,

I was a stranger and you welcomed me. Mt. 25:35

We all know that having food and drink at any occasion refreshes us and builds relationships. Jesus’ ministry often involved food. Now it’s time to empower a Faith team to brainstorm and oversee when events include food and drink, so there is an efficient means to feed the masses from small groups to large.

If you have gifts for: “helping with food/drink selection”; establishing a list of stores, bakeries, restaurants that can be ordered from; making purchases from a budget; overseeing volunteers (if necessary) who would set-up, serve, bake/cook, and clean up, please contact Pr. Chris.

We need a team of at least 6 people who especially enjoy food and enjoy providing hospitality. Details on the parameters of this team will be determined based on team member ideas and opinions.

NEW PRAYER LIST FORM

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

In an effort to build care for one another as our Prayer List continues to grow, please provide the following information to Karen as you request prayers for yourself or others:

Their name; your name, your relation to them (ie. daughter, friend), and reason (ie. cancer, recovery from surgery, health issues, mourning; homebound, military service/where stationed; pet issue; etc.

As God calls us to pray for one another, there is solace in community. The more we understand what we’re going through, the more we can comfort one another and share experiences. Pastor Chris encourages mutual prayer and care but without being intrusive. She would also like those making additions and deletions to the list to have the loved one’s permission to do so.
