New Members Welcomed on June 15, 2025

Since the inception of Faith Lutheran Church on October 27, 2024, we have welcomed additional folks into our congregation who were not former members of the predecessor churches.

This year, we are excited to create special opportunities to recognize and appreciate those members.  Our first celebration will be on June 15th, coinciding with Holy Trinity Sunday. If you would like to participate in this special worship service, where we will come together to honor your journey to Faith Lutheran Church through an Affirmation of Baptism rite, let Pr. Chris know (cell 860-989-3507).

This rite is a beautiful way to reflect on how God continues to guide you on your spiritual path, leading you to be a cherished member of Faith Lutheran Church. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and all our wonderful members as we gather in worship and joy!

If June 15th doesn’t work for you, we will be offering another time in the fall. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Pr. Chris as well.

Again, thank you for deciding to be a part of Faith Lutheran Church and its ministries. We hope you will have your spiritual needs met here and feel welcomed to participate in any way God is calling you.

PUMPKINS, PUMPKINS, WHO HAS THE PUMPKINS?

WE WILL!

YES, THE PUMPKIN PATCH IS RETURNING.

The company is planting over 5 million seeds for

60 different varieties of pumpkins and gourds.

Where will we put them all?!

(Actually, they’re not all for us. The company, in business for 50 years, works with over 800 non-profits nationwide.)

The pumpkins are tentatively scheduled to arrive on Friday, October 10th. We’ll sell them daily from October 11th through Halloween. Save the dates. Volunteer sign-up sheets will be posted in September.

See you in the pumpkin patch!

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

As God calls us to pray for one another, there is solace in community. The more we understand what we’re going through, the more we can comfort one another and share experiences. Pastor Chris encourages mutual prayer and care but without being intrusive. She would also like those making additions and deletions to the list to have the loved one’s permission to do so.
