Lutheran World Relief is an international non-governmental organization that focuses on sustainable development projects and disaster relief and recovery. The organization was founded in 1945 to collect and send aid to people living in post-World War II Europe. Here at Faith we regularly collect supplies, which as school needs and ship them to LWR headquarters. Your contribution helps to further the LWR’s work by providing for shipping costs and other expenses.

On Sunday, November 7, 2021, we will lift up the names of our brothers and sisters in Christ who have died since last November.

PASTOR APPRECIATION - NOV. 7

Faith Lutheran Church is experiencing the excitement of the installation of Pastor Eric Olsen on Nov. 14. Pastor Larry and Pastor Bob will conclude their roles as Interim Pastors.

We are grateful to them for their shepherding of the church throughout our transition period. We would like to show our appreciation to them through the giving a gift. If you would like to contribute, please place your monetary gift in an envelope marked “Pastoral Gift". Contributions are being collected through Nov. 4 and will be presented to them on Nov. 7 at our Appreciation Service.

From time to time there is a need for people to help with certain projects or tasks within various ministries. Some examples could be helping with a church mailing, helping with a special gathering or study group, extra hands in the office if needed, and other one-time projects.

ALTAR FLOWERS

ALTAR FLOWERS are a beautiful and meaningful way to honor/remember someone or a special occasion, while decorating our altar for worship. Next available date, October 31!

When you purchase altar flowers, your name and dedication will be published in the bulletin on your selected Sunday and the flowers are yours to keep after the service!

To make a dedication: At church, complete an 'Altar Flowers' envelope with your payment, and place it in the offering plate; By mail, send payment with a note indicating your desired date and dedication; or CLICK HERE to order online. EMPTY INK CARTRIDGES COLLECTION

Please consider donating your empty ink cartridges to help the church and environment! When we bring the cartridges to Staples, we receive store credit from Staples to help offset office supply costs.

The ink collection bin is on the counter in Fellowship Hall.

24 Pray that our faith in Jesus Christ will reassure us that God’s grace, mercy and compassion can be trusted and that only God can truly transform us and make us whole.
