COMMUNION UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who responded to the communion voting. After careful consideration, Faith Lutheran will return to communion at the altar in July. More details will be given as we get closer.
FELC TRAFFIC CONTROL
If you happen to arrive at church during the week between 8:45-9:15 a.m., you may notice some extra cars in the church parking lot, with children eagerly awaiting to enter school.

To minimize the traffic back-up on Eugene Street during preschool drop-off, FELC is trying some different methods for drop-off. Parents now will enter via both driveways and the FELC staff will insert every other car at the drop off area (essentially mixing the cars entering from Eugene and entering from Beneva). We hope this will help to move about half of the cars off Eugene Street.

If you have any questions, please call Tami in the church office at 941-924-4664. Thank you for your patience as we try and work to find a safe and efficient solution.

DAILY PRAYER
VENTURES
The ELCA offers daily Prayer Ventures, which may be found on their website, https://www.elca.org/en/Resources/Prayer-Ventures. The prayer for today and this weekend is below. Visit the website if you would like to follow the daily prayers!

11 Remember in prayer the leaders, voting members and others gathering online for the assemblies of the Grand Canyon, Northeastern Ohio, La Crosse Area, Indiana-Kentucky, and Northwestern Pennsylvania synods, that the Spirit will strengthen, guide and encourage them in choosing leaders, proclaiming the gospel, growing the church, serving our neighbor and doing God’s work in an ever-changing world.

12 Remember in prayer the leaders, voting members and others gathering online for the assemblies of the New England, Virginia and Northeastern Iowa synods, that the Spirit will strengthen, guide and encourage them in choosing leaders, proclaiming the gospel, growing the church, serving our neighbor and doing God’s work in an ever-changing world.

13 When we read the parables of Jesus, we sometimes default to rote explanations of their meaning. Pray that we will hear and read Scripture with hearts and minds open to learning, insight and fresh connection to our daily life.
